As an AI Engineer at Fellow, you are the technical backbone of our growing AI practice. You don't just build prototypes — you design, develop, and operate AI solutions in production for Fellow and our clients. You work with LLM integration, agentic workflows, API orchestration, and the infrastructure layers that make it all come together.
Fellow is a management consultancy in growth mode, and AI capabilities are a central part of our strategy going forward. You will have the opportunity to help define what Fellow AI is — technically, methodologically, and commercially.
Your responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-driven solutions based on LLMs (Claude, Mistral, OpenAI, and similar)
- Build and maintain integration layers and APIs for AI models and services
- Set up agentic workflows using Claude Code and similar orchestration technologies
- Take ownership of hosting, deployment, and operation of AI applications — cloud, containers, and CI/CD
- Collaborate with consultants and clients to translate needs into concrete technical solutions
- Contribute to building internal standards, tooling, and best practices for Fellow AI
- Stay up to date in a fast-moving field — and share knowledge internally
Your profile
We imagine you have a solid background as a backend or fullstack developer, and that you now want to use that experience to build with AI rather than just use it. What matters most is not that you already know everything about AI — it's that you have the foundation to learn and deliver quickly.
- Experience with backend development
- Knowledge of DevOps: CI/CD, Docker/containers, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP or similar)
- Hands-on experience with API design and system integrations
- You have worked with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, or others) — or are ready to hit the ground running
- Understanding of security, scalability, and operational considerations in production environments
- Fluent in Danish and English
Bonus points if you have
- Experience with agentic systems, RAG architectures, or LLM orchestration (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar)
- Familiarity with Claude Code or similar AI coding assistants used in a professional context
- Frontend experience (React/Next.js) — we are cross-functional and appreciate that
- Interest in or experience from the consultancy industry
